Dr. Abdul Ahad Siddiqi
Technical Advisor
Dr. Abdul Ahad Siddiqi, earned a Ph.D., in Artificial Intelligence, from the University of Essex, UK in 1998, a Masters of Computer Science in Artificial Intelligence, from University of Essex, UK in 1992, and a Bachelors of Computer Systems Engineering from NED University of Engg., & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan in 1989. He is a member of IEEE, and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Before joining PrisLogix as technical advisor, he worked as Dean at Dept. of Computer Science, Karachi Institute of Information Technology (KIIT), then affiliated with University of Huddersfield, UK. He has been teaching a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate Computer Science & Engineering courses in KSA, UK and in Pakistan for almost fifteen years. He has been responsible to supervise score of M.Phil./M.Sc. students of various Pakistani Universities, and has been working as Program Leaders for bachelors and masters courses, and was put up with challenging position of “Quality Assurance coordinator” at KIIT, Pakistan. He has had the opportunity to design course curriculum for, KIIT Pakistan, and a few other Pakistani Universities/Institutes, and is well versed with ABET, and IEEE/ACM computer curriculum. He is one of the renowned experts in the field of Information Technology. In recognition to his IT expertise, he has been involved with working group of Information Technology (IT), Strategic Science & Advanced Technology (SSAT) programs. He has also been expert member for the board of studies of various Pakistani Universities/Institutes, notably, NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Usman Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIT - affiliated with Hamdard University, Karachi, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Sindh, IBA Sukhur, etc.

He has been active in research activities, and has published his research work in International proceedings and journals. He was a member of program and technical committees of various International conferences, and has chaired various conference proceedings. He has also been invited as keynote speaker to many International conferences, and workshops. He was invited as keynote speaker at ICINCO, Setubal, Portugal in year 2004. In year 2009, he will be invited as keynote speaker at IEEE – ICICT 2009, oraginsed by IBA, Karachi – Pakistan. So far, more than seventeen of his research papers have been published to his credit. He also writes articles in leading Pakistani English newspapers on promotion of IT education in Pakistan. He is currently working on two research projects entitled “Developing an OCR system for recognition of Arabic postal codes in middle east” and "Saudi passport authentication system using Biometrics technology". Both research projects are supported by the Deanship of Research at Taibah University, KSA. He has also been involved with European commission, British council, and Pakistan Telecommunication on R&D projects in different capacities between 1998 and 2005. He has been supervising various undergraduate and postgraduate projects in the areas of IT, healthcare applications, wireless network applications, biometrics, pattern recognition, neural networks, mobile computing, intelligent agents, etc.

Humayun Yusuf
Senior IT Consultant
Mr. Humayun Yusuf has a Masters degree in Computer Science. He has had over nineteen years of experience in the field of Information Technology with 11 years in project management. During this tenure, he had considerable exposure to various business domains, including Banking, Manufacturing, Trading, Ports and Shipping Industries. He’s now specializing in database related projects using oracle. He has also had eight years of experience in development and designing applications using cobol. He has knowledge of applications & general databases tuning and backup/recovery management in Oracle 8/8i, 9i & 10g. He is familiar with unix, NT, AIX, Windows 95/98/2000/XP, and DOS. He has had experience of Analysis / Design / Development & Implementation of projects for various verticals of industry including Banks, Financial institutions, Government, Private organizations, Hospitals and Hotels.

He was a Assistant Manager (MIS Department) with National Development Finance Corporation (NDFC), a leading financial Institution of Pakistan during the late 90’s. Later on he worked as a Project Manager with Auriga Associates (Pvt.) Ltd, a leading Software House of Pakistan. From September 2003 to December 2007 he was working as a Chief Technology Officer with Nexus Technology, a leading Software House. He was additionally working as a Consultant for United Bank Ltd, on behalf of Si3 (Pakistan’s premier Systems Integrator) from 2005 to 2008.

Mr Yusuf has been a part of various successful projects in his 19 years of I.T experience. Project Management has been one such fort, Automation for Port Qasim and Star Marketing are a few of his project management accomplishments; he was also a part of the ERP team that provided solution for Security Papers Limited. Furthermore he designed & developed the Human Resource Management System for City Bank Pakistan.

Syed Ali Ahmed
Business Development Manager
Mr. Syed Ali Ahmed is responsible for all Business Development activities worldwide, which includes identifying target customers and developing new business strategies for PrisLogix. Syed Ali Ahmed has over 8 years of IT experience in both the local and international market, with a remarkable business acumen for the international markets.

Ali is accountable for the Business development and marketing carried out with in the company. He owns the responsibility for planning, directing and coordinating activities for the sales and marketing teams while ensuring that project goals are accomplished in line with the business objectives. Moreover he plays a major role in Developing, executing, monitoring and revising the project plans and budget of assigned projects in order to achieve business objectives. Ali has lead the team at PrisLogix to various ICT awards in the year 2006. His clientele include various hospitals, airlines, real-estate companies, educational institutions, animation studios, law firms and travel industires.

With plans for global expansion in mind, Ali has been involved in international sales, branding and marketing for PrisLogix, with visits to the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and Macau, building up strong relationship with partners and clients for PrisLogix in virtually most of these locations.

Murtaza Ahmed Khan
SQA Manager
Murtaza Ahmed Khan is Manager Quality Assurance at PrisLogix LLc. He is Responsible for organization-wide implementation of Project Management Processes and Standardizing the Project Planning, Monitoring and Control, Requirements Management, Configuration Management, Measurement and Analysis processes. Besides this, he facilitates Upper Management Decision making through Monthly Quality trend Report (QTR).

He has been working with PrisLogix in Various positions since 2004. He started the process improvement process of the organization by initiating CMMi implementation as process engineer and led the company to successful CMMI process implementation. He also Developed & conducted organization-wide trainings on CMMi and ISO.

In addition, He helped our company renew ISO-certification through compliance monitoring. He also led the team for Surveillance Audit and liaison with Moody’s International.

In his early years of Services with PrisLogix, he set-up a new & formal Quality Engineering Department (QED) and made it part of the mainstream software development process of our company.

He has done his BSC Hons in Software development from University of Huddersfield UK and MS in Software Engineering from Muhammad Ali Jinnah University. He is an ISO 9001:2000 lead auditor and conducted audits of different software houses in Karachi along with Moody’s International as an Area expert. Few are: Application Xs, Eplanet, Teledata, Mixit, International Systems Technology and Catalyst Solutions. He is a Certified Software Quality Assurance Professional and has attended CMMI for Dev v.1.2 course. He also attended the first official Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) training in Pakistan conducted by an Australian instructor.

He was Project Manager for the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMi) level 2 achievement project in which he coordinated successful CMMi level 2 appraisal and got Prislogix CMMI level 2 in June 2008. He attended SCAMPI Appraisal Team Member (ATM) training for this purpose and worked with the Lead Appraiser Mr. Farhan Mirza as an ATM. He has an experience of more than 5 years in the field of I.T.

He has recently completed Lead Implementer Training for Information Security Management System (ISMS) ISO 27001:2005.

Kamran Siddiqi
Development Manager
Kamran Siddiqi is Manager Development of PrisLogix LLC. He has been associated with PrisLogix since 2007. He is responsible for managing the overall development & operations of the company across the broad spectrum of IT products and services portfolio as well as supporting functions of network operations and process improvement. He has also attended CMMI Course: Carnegie-Mellon Software Engineering Institute, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States (SEI) Authorized Introduction to Capability Mature Model Integration (CMMI ver. 1.2) training by NetSol Technologies. He is a Lead Implementer for Information Security Management System (ISMS) ISO 27001:2005 & also a lead auditor for ISO 9000, ISO 9001: 2008 , ISO 9004 and ISO 19011 having expertise in following areas:

• Auditor and Lead Auditor Activities

Mr. Kamran has over 5 years of professional IT experience in software development, process management, project management and Information Systems management. Prior to joining PrisLogix, Mr. Kamran Siddiqi worked for Anchor Group, Dewan Mushtaq Group, and Pakistan Telecommunication Limited for different Managerial positions. Mr. Kamran holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Sciences from University of Huddersfield, UK with specialization in Software Development.

Haseeb Kodvavi
Project Manager Web Development
Haseeb Kodvavi serves as manager web development for PrisLogix. He acts as a focal point of all projects related activities of web development ranging from project scheduling to making overall Project Plan. He also acts as technical advisor for complex websites and solves technical problems dealing with extensive code and markup. In his job period with PrisLogix, he earned the company strong web portfolio.

Haseeb’s in-depth knowledge of web makes him an essential part of PrisLogix’s outstanding web development team. He has designed and developed many content management systems, web applications and websites in his 7 years of I.T experience. His depth of experience in the web world is a mark of extraordinary versatility he brings to PrisLogix and its clients. Haseeb has a master’s degree in computer science with a major in web development.
